Vacation Lusts

My Travel Bucket List

  • New York City
  • Seattle, WA
  • Tons of Florida beaches
  • Finger Lakes, NY
  • Denver & Colorado Springs
  • Vancouver, Canada
  • Cabo, Mexico
  • The Bahamas
  • Costa Rica
  • Rio de Janeiro
  • Iceland
  • Tour of Italy: Genoa, Venice, Tuscany, Rome, Naples, Sicily
  • Paris
  • London
  • Berlin
  • Spain/Morocco combo tour
  • Tour of Norway
  • Mediterannean Island Cruise/Tour: Balearic Islands, Sardinia, Malta, Crete, Cyprus
  • Budapest
  • Istanbul, Turkey
  • Dead Sea & Petra, Jordan
  • Egyptian Pyramids
  • Moscow
  • Tour of Nepalese temples
  • All over China. I could spend months here and draw out a detailed tour plan.
  • Tokyo
  • Taipei
  • Bali
  • Fiji
  • Sydney

These are the obvious ones that fill my day dreams. I would just as readily explore less popular sites such as Tanzania,ย Tajikistan, Madagascar, South Africa, Thailand…. You name it, I am probably interested. I’m currently in that unique period of life where one begins to accumulate and manage income ….but without any legitimate savings usable on international travel. While saving for one’s first home, travel expenses are viewed as frivolous. I have the fortunate luxury of traveling nationally for work, and so my U.S. destinations are getting checked off at no expense to myself as well as providing my wanderlust with some sustenance in the meantime. I imagine my international travel will kick off soon after I buy my first home unless I come face to face with a ridiculously great deal before then (an offer I can’t refuse, as they say). Until then, I will make lists in blogs and click “Save Picture As” from GoogleImages repeatedly ….and salivate.
